When it comes to buying a fire pit quality must be high on your agenda
You need to look no further for quality, well-built fire pits that you’ll love to use
Products Built To Last
The fire pit made from solid hand-finished steel, thicker and heavier than most fire pits you will find on the internet.
The build quality is excellent and that’s guaranteed!
The tripod is sturdy and well-made and allows you to control the height of your grate with ease
The same qualities are found in the steel lid and mesh guard
Garden Chefs guide to a better fire pit experience:
- Use a good amount of kindling to get the fire going
- Where possible use kiln-dried logs, (kiln-dried wood gives off far less smoke)
- Split logs down with an axe (thicker logs will smoke more)
- Keep the temperature up by adding logs regularly, don’t let the fire burn right down before adding more fuel
- Allow airflow around your logs as you stack them
- Enjoy
Please note that steel fire pits will show surface rust, especially if they are not covered during wet weather, but follow the basic maintenance laid out below and use a cover when not in use and your new fire pit will last for many many years.
Products can be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried thoroughly, grates should be coated with a thin layer of edible oil, repeating this step regularly to prevent rusting.
Black raw steel may have rust appear after some time, this is a natural process and is not a manufacturing fault
Black raw steel can be maintained by sanding with fine grade sandpaper and painting with high-temperature paint. The inside of black steel fire bowls should however not be painted but can be coated with a thin layer of edible oil to help prevent rust.
Garden Chefs offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturing faults on all fire pits
