Montana High Fire Bowl
The Montana High Fire Bowl is a great product
Due to its design, it delivers heat at around waist height, which makes it a perfect centrepiece for social gatherings. It also keeps the heat away from ground level
So imagine your group of friends, drinks in hand gathered around the warming fire, toasting some marshmallows, sounds perfect right!
Well, not only does this fire pit work great for social gatherings, but as you can see from the video it can also be used as a huge BBQ
The 80cm grill sits perfectly on this fire pit and gives you a huge amount of cooking space.
It’s the best of both worlds
And as with all of the fire bowls in our range, the Montana High Fire Bowl has been selected for quality and functionality
Made from thicker steel and hand-finished for quality, this really is a great purchase
The space below the fire bowl is used to store wood
This not only looks great, but it means there’s plenty of timber on hand all night long
The heat from the fire will help dry the logs and dryer logs burn better, they also give off less smoke, so it’s a win-win!

Garden Chefs guide to a better fire pit experience:
- Use a good amount of kindling to get the fire going
- Where possible use kiln-dried logs, (kiln-dried wood gives off far less smoke)
- Split logs down with an axe (thicker logs will smoke more)
- Keep the temperature up by adding logs regularly, don’t let the fire burn right down before adding more fuel
- Allow airflow around your logs as you stack them
- Enjoy
Please note that steel fire pits will show surface rust, especially if they are not covered during wet weather, but follow the basic maintenance laid out below and use a cover when not in use and your new fire pit will last for many many years.
Products can be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried thoroughly, grates should be coated with a thin layer of edible oil, repeating this step regularly to prevent rusting.
Black raw steel may have rust appear after some time, this is a natural process and is not a manufacturing fault
Black raw steel can be maintained by sanding with fine-grade sandpaper and painting with high-temperature paint. The inside of black steel fire bowls should however not be painted but can be coated with a thin layer of edible oil to help prevent rust.
Garden Chefs offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturing faults on all fire pits
