Monolith 66 Heat Protector Stone

The baseplate, also called the protector disk, lies on the bottom of the Grill body in the monolith.

It is placed in the middle of the fire basket.

It serves the additional heat insulation in the ceramic grill body.

You can further increase the insulating effect of the protector disk by sprinkling a little sand on the bottom of the monolith before the disc is inserted.

The baseplate is made of high quality ceramic.
